Postgraduate course in Industrial Engineering and Management 5 ECTS: Industry 4.0 and resilient operations – human and technological factors
Industry 4.0 (I4.0) and digitalization currently play a central role in how the IEM field, the industry and the society at large are changing. The ongoing pandemic has also highlighted the practical need for industry to make their operations more resilient. This course aims to deliver a current view on these topics, particularly from the viewpoints of managing production, safety and ergonomics through I4.0 key technologies. In their coursework the students analyze these topics in the context of their own research.
